These peanut butter chocolate bars are like blondies on crack. They are rich soft, and bursting with chocolate chips. And the batter…oh boy. The batter tastes exactly like Reese’s peanut butter cups. I’ve never understood when people talk about their weak will when it comes to cookie batter. Consider me converted. I could eat the entire batch raw…it’s that good.
If you need one more treat to add to your Christmas cookie trays, give this a try. It’s quick, easy, and you probably have all the ingredients on hand.
1 cup peanut butter
6 tbsp. unsalted butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
3 large eggs
1 c. flour
2 c. milk chocolate morsels (11 1/2 ounce package)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream together peanut butter and butter. Add sugars and vanilla, beat to combine.
Add eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly. Incorporate flour and beat until just mixed.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Spread into a greased 9″x13″ pan and bake 20-25 minutes, until just set. Cut into bars. (I got 35 small squares.)
